A very good idea. I had one snap going around a corner about 5 years ago. Replaced all 6 just to be safe. Cheap and fairly easy.

It's that salt water rust crap. You should move to Michigan. Supposed to get up to 60 tomorrow (maybe)....

but only on one end,the less important end ,i dont see a problem,
you could've gotten a couple more blocks out of those springs.
Craigslist them in Key Largo, they'll sell$,or give them to Ratickle, for the prize pool.

Just got the springs off the Port side....they both were broken. Just Ospho'd the sh*t out of the rest of the parts.

Yep... all the way to Marathon to get the fuel tanks fixed...and the Starboard motor lower unit.

A smart thought, i had one snap circumventing a corner around 5 years back, supplanted every one of the 6 as a sanity check, shabby and genuinely simple
