Ocean Dragon Racing, US built Red and yellow 41ft Pantera will be competing in the 2013 Monte-Carlo Powerboat Grand Prix



Following on from Last years Cows Torquay where Ocean Dragon Racing was awarded several trophies.

The Royal London Yacht Club Trophy (2nd Crew Overall) beaten by just 9 seconds in a nail biting finish with Cinzano a more powerful boat with two 725hp engines who finished in 2 hours 53 minutes and 44 seconds, the third place team came in 26 minutes later.

The Haimed Buhaleeba Trophy (1st Overseas Entry)

Team Navigator Tom Williams-Hawkes collecting the Alex-Foster Meridien Trophy (Youngest Competitor at 29.) and of course Ocean Dragon Racing Pantera race boat will be there in August 2012.






The Cowes to Monte-Carlo Powerboat Grand Prix will start at 09.30 AM on Saturday the 8th June 2013 off the Royal Yacht Squadron at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, in the United Kingdom. Covering 2,400 miles over 15 days via 11 cities in 5 countries, this race is recognised internationally as the longest and toughest offshore powerboat race in the world. There is no greater challenge for those who love powerboat racing and the sea.

The Cowes to Monte Carlo Powerboat Grandprix 2013 is 2,400 nautical miles off deepwater offshore powerboat racing. This is the longest and toughest offshore powerboat race in the world – bar none. Going through territorial waters of the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and then running up through the Mediterranean via the Côte d'Azur to Monte Carlo.This race has only happened once before in the history of powerboat racing – in 1972.
