Just got a call a little bit ago that Chris Mornes passed away on Thursday from a massive heart attack. That is too bad, I always enjoyed when I got a chance to chat with him at an event before he parted ways.
For those of you who don't know him, he was the sales manager/general manager at Skater for a number of years.
He moved to Sarasota after the repair of his heart’s mitral valve in May, 2010. That surgery went well, from what he had said, and I thought everything was looking up for him with his health. I guess you just never know.
May he rest in peace. He was a heck of a decent guy.
