When you're dialing in for the best prop, do you usually beg, borrow, and steal until you get one that barely overrevs, barely underrevs, or is right at peak dyno RPM/HP?

Which is better to end up with, then have labbed?????

I used B Blades prop test program, once you get the best prop thats about 200rpm under limit then lab.

So under RPM is the best?

If its your prop and you plan to lab it. Then it will end up right at the max rpm your looking for.

If you do not have a prop yet get a base line on a "out of the box" Mercury prop. Trying to figure out what you need from a prop you don't know the history on or one that has been worked in any way can send you in circles.
