Italian Team, Al&Al, Joins the SBI Racing Circuit
Sep 15, 2011 No Comments by SBI Team Al&Al has announced its next participation at one of the most famous world-wide championship races scheduled to occur in Key West, Florida, from November 6 to 13.
2011 is a really challenging year for the Italian team: after participating at the EU x-cat championship and being confirmed as the most competitive Italian team, they have decided to compete in a class of Supersport in Key West with two boats.
The boats include the renewed Big Sergio and another new boat, recently constructed in an Italian yard, already tested as a highly competitive boat.
Alfredo Amato, Alfredo Nuzzo, this year along with Emanuele Di Palo, Donato Di Palo and Matteo Nicolini, will drive alternately both boats.
After concluding the 2010 P1 season as second classified with “Big Sergio”, they look forward to take part of the Key West race to compete with American vessels to show their ability and their class.
“We only started in 2009 in a Superboat race, and 2010 it has been a big year for us: we participated at International Powerboat with a new highly competitive boat that brought us two important victories in Poltu Quatu and in Siracusa, concluding the Powerboat as second classified. We deeply believe in our constant growth for this year and we trust to bring home a brilliant result in Key West” stated Alfredo Amato, pilot of the team.
“Championship racing in Key West is legendary, we are pleased to take part of it to compete with Americans and we are ready to show our spirit and competitiveness”, they said.
