I have heard 125 and 126 for the second run, I'll check with race control in the morning.

We will do a run bright and early with some cooler air. The carbs are jetted for cooler air and the motors were just a bit flat today.

They showed John in his BT at the end of the course, but were too busy talking about other stuff. Did he run? And if so, what?????

Congrats John on your kickazz run. Great meeting you all at loto this year.

It was nice meeting and speaking to you and your dad and thanks for the ride and for the use of your helmet. If we run next year I may take some of the wife's stuff out of the cabin to lighten it up by a 1000lbs or so.

If she reads this you're in big trouble........:)

Nice run John. Do you think it had 100 in it? You looked pretty well glued down on the 90 pass. They were talking about the Turbine pass while you were making the 97 pass so we didn't get to see it.

Yes it will run 100 all day, the first pass I was at 100 on the 2 GPS's in my boat but must of not hit the radar gun right. The 2nd pass I was so loaded up with fuel it wouldn't come up past 5K and I lost a alternator so 1 engine was popping most of the way down the coarse. But I had fun and I still drove it to PB2.

That actually sounds about right.

Typically the GPS's in the boats read around 3% to 5% higher. I'm sure it's a combination of the angle of the guns in comparison to the line on the boat. The fastest speeds seem to start way wide on the right side of the course, then buzz the left side of the course finish buoy directly under the guns.

But they are still not shooting directly straight on......

I think on My Way's 208, his on board GPS's were 217.

So if you lose 1000 lbs of fuel and 1000 lbs of wifes cooking utensils, clothes, water toys, and who knows what else (plus fix your alternator). You should be well over 100.....

A heck of a run though. Congrats again Class Winner....
