In just a few weeks, the Lake of the Ozarks will be flooded with Skater Powerboats. On August 27-29, Team Skater will host Skaterfest 2010 at the Camden on the Lake Resort. The event is free and open to the public; we invite everyone to come out and see some of the finest, fastest powerboats in the country. Over 35 Skaters from all over the country will be gathered at Toad Cove all weekend, alongside exotic cars (including 2 Lambos and a Bugatti), a drag boat and tunnel boat. We will hold a silent auction with unique, performance-themed items up for bids, which will be displayed among the vendor booths, for the weekend.

Friday, August 27

We encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the lake Friday afternoon; either with the Shoot-out poker run, one of the many fun runs, or at the numerous waterfront bars and restaurants.

• Skater Boat Show and Photo Shoot, 4-8 pm on the Camden Resort Docks
• With over 35 Skaters on display at the docks, it will be a great opportunity to check out the hardware. Bring your cameras and take advantage of this rare gathering.
• Skater owners will also have the opportunity to register and obtain inspections for the Shoot-out on the docks Friday night.
• After the boat show and photo shoot, take advantage of the live entertainment at Toad Cove. The Zeroes will be playing at Camden all weekend, and The Miss Planet Beach bikini contests at Shady Gator’s both nights.

Saturday, August 28

Join us for breakfast at Camden on the Lake, from 7-10, before heading to Captain Ron’s for the Lake of the Ozarks Shoot-out from 10-5.

• Skaterfest Powerboat Seminar, 6-8 pm in the Camden Resort conference rooms
• Team Skater has brought together some of the biggest icons in the powerboating industry to the Lake for a once-in-a-lifetime event. Everyone is invited to join in this informal, round-table discussion with our VIP guest speakers. This is the time to ask the experts any questions you may have from all aspects of powerboating.
