Took my dad for a ride and cruised untill the Fish heads wrote me a ticket for no PA registration. I thought the Coast Guard Documentation was enough but we'll see when I get the court date.. How fun 1st day and a ticket.

Get a newbe lawyer cheap to fight it:rolleyes:Enough people fight these minor tickets the less they will write when they see it's a waste of time:boxing_smiley:Help people in distress not a guy enjoying his new ride:ack2:

Slandrew,,, Amen to that.
I had 3 kids with me under 10 all with Vests on, My wife and a friend. The boat was 100% legal and the Girl doing my document work never heard of this in 20+ years.
I could see it if I was doing something bad.
Leave it to the PA fish commision.

Great looking boat and I wish you the best of luck I just purchased the same this year only a 96 with fresh 540"s not the fastest but runs a onest 80 plus on the gps. This hull realy likes a two to three chop gets right up on top very stable. Don"t forget to do the water pumps mine went last night no damage but could have been avoided and I knew better.

When you get a chance, go over the maint log of the boat. The bellows boots probably need replacing (if they haven't been replaced), they are probably what caused that other 32 to go down. Many have slow leaks and don't notice it until it gets real bad, then it could be too late. All boats have this problem, just Fountains sit lower so it is less forgiving if you have a leak. Also check your bilges, I know on 2001 up model the pumps kick on automatically if water gets too high in the engine comp.

Congrats, nice boat:cheers2:

Oh and fight the ticket, USCG should be all you need if you were on a USCG navigatable water way.
