It was last year. Now it is 85 max per GPS.

DD I haven't seen you run a lap over 60 in the last 2 years. How many laps do you average between rebuilds?

Some info from the race package for the pro M ......

Special Notice to ProAm Teams
This is remind everyone that in order to run in an OSS ProAM Class this year, you will have to have a specific Garmin
GPS unit on your boat. Currently, the only "legal" units are Garmin model numbers 172 (c), 182 (c), 192 (c), 398 and
498. Only these units listed will allow for a software change necessary to keep track of your speed during the race.
Even if you have some other GPS unit on your boat, you will need one of the listed models in order to compete. This
rule change was necessary to make the OSS rule book compatible to the SBI book for the joint races this year.
Currently, there are many of these allowed units available on E-BAY. Some of the item numbers are 280487588348,
200456455256 and 350335282546. Most of the sellers identified by these item numbers have multiple units available.
The average price on E-BAY is around $350.00, MSRP for these units were $499.99. All of the ones listed come with a
one year warranty from Garmin.
Please remember, if you have a closed canopy boat, you will need an external antenna for the GPS to work properly.
Again, available on E-BAY.

OSS has aligned there rules to be the same as SBI classes. It is based on breakout speeds. I would think our SVL should run in the 95MPH max class so we can run WOT. Remember one thing, there our teams running for series points and we should not do anything to show boat and make them not look good. If you plan on running in a 85 MPH class you better make sure you dont break out just to look good at the finish line! That would not be cool. What ever you guys want to do. We can talk about it on Monday.
