if its a stock 454 ( or close ) don't run it over 5400 RPM when trimmed out to the max ( indicator + 6 on a 0-10 ) @ WOT .

If it turns that @ 3/4 throttle your prop is to small ( pitch )
If it turns less then 5000 , its to big !

Hope this helps , to at least get a guid line ! :cheers2:

Good guideline, how much fuel does it matter?

Jaime, ask this same question in the Prop Tech section, or call Pantera, I'm certain Jo or Pepe can answer this right on the money.

If it's a stock 454/330 don't rev it anymore that 5000 tops!

Dude! Sweet!

You're going to have to use anecdotal advice from most of us since it has a #3 on it and most had bravos. Pepe and Jo are absolutely great for offering insight and almost always pick up the phone.

I ran a Mirage + 23 on my old 24 with a stock 330 and that seemed about right.

Stock cast iron crank(310hp,330hp) 454s like 4200-4600 rpm. 454 Mags like 48600-5000. Hope that helps.

It's helpful to get your tach calibrated so you know it's dead on.
