If i remember right, isnt one of our chicago guys in the steel biz? I am gonna need some square steel tubing, and some other stuff....was gonna order stuff online, but if we got a hookup i'd rather support our local guys....Who am i kidding, im cheap.....

Nothin crazy, just like a 6ft piece of 3x3x 3/16 square steel tubing(for the trailer) and about 4ft of aluminum angle 4x4x1/2 for motor mount brackets. The ones in the Fontaine look like swiss cheese and would rather start fresh. Looks like when they rerigged from TRS to ssm they reused the old angle, moved them back a few inches, and redrilled, wallowed out holes, etc.

you can try metal supermarket in Bedford park or in Bridgeview. They will cut it whatever you need and thats all you get charged for.

I can get you what you need, but I am used to dealing in 100,000# orders, not 10# orders. I will shoot you an e-mail tomorrow.

I have a piece of 3x3x1/4 square tubing 4 feet long just laying around in my garage. If it helps you out, you are more than welcome to have it.

Thanks Guys.....

As for that piece you got in the garage mike, i gotta remeasure, but that might work for the trailer. I thought it was like 5-6ft...maybe i could borrow Andy's tube stretcher....
