Subluxator...A-? Finished 3rd in it's first ever race (in Ft Meyers). after a pretty stellar A Class career it went on to be a very sucessful F-1 racer....Did I win it? How much is shipping to TN?:cheers2:

Our 26 has dash inserts...currently boat is sitting here with no inserts and we can easily to the style you want. Just like the Glad!

I think it set the F-1 Kilo record twice (maybe more) and won the F-1 championship. I don't recall it winning the Offshore "A" championship. I think it did win some races in A Class, but won several as an F Boat.

Mike,
Your boat is the best...don't ever sell, unless to me! Subluxator rigged by Scott Mander of Intense Marine in Miami originally. Boat won in 1995 Miami race w/ tough competition...Franks Marine, Hogs Breath, etc. Not sure about the rest of 1995. I know West Palm was Franks Marine and Key West was Archer Marine Scarab. National champ in 1995 was Hogs Breath Corsa (Steve's boat). I believe your boat as Subluxator won A class 1996 national champs. Also won F1 class in 1999 as Freedom Offshore. How many other boats have "A" class and F1 National championships to its name? I know of none. What do I win? A ride?

Forgot lastly, Radioactive in NH. Subluxator as A-46 and then Team Chiropractic F1-46 AND Freedom Offshore as F1-46 and after 1999, F1-1 and as Radioactive...I think F1-46, not sure. Love this boat. Oh yeah...got videos from different races, different names on boat, etc. Saw this boat in 1997 in Biloxi Mississippi and have pics from camera. Boat then was just rerigged w/Stellings ext. box by Franks Marine boys even though Frank was in PR. Says "Franks Marine Racing" above gimbal. Also have pics of boat in NC at Reggies place as Freedom Offshore in 2000 (I think?). Like I said, Nobody likes this ride more that me. Hang on to it! Do I win?:cheers2:

Boat ran 83 mph at Reggie's in 2000 kilo...I was there! 500 carb w/box, and hydromotive prop...that's dialed in!

Somebodys done their research :) In the West Palm race this boat flipped, Franks Marine was crashed into by a B- Class fountain, Jim Arvis was ejected from our boat (but we made it back to 4th out of 19, then threw a rod)

Fast Donzi and No Limits win the prize!!!! All I can offer is a boat ride whenever you guys are in St. Pete. Boat runs 84 now as a full on pleasure boat with an Innovation Vortec!!!!

The boat is awesome. I bought it from the NH guys as Radioactive but obviously, Miklos, Gary D., Jay S., Hate Tank, and Innovation made several changes and the boat runs as good as ever. I do not think I will ever sell it. Too much fun!:sifone:

Powerboat Magazine had a pic of the boat when it flipped. I think it was in the front of the magazine...maybe the "contents" page. Not sure what month that would be.

It was soooooo fast that when it raced on counter-clockwise courses it would evaporate time, thus resulting in having been raced before it was built, only problem was the prize money checks where no good for a year!

Cool. Corsas were awesome little race boats in their day, especially during the 90's as "A" class boats. As sit down pleasure boats these sit down ex-race boats are really fun and economical. Fast, great in the rough, very comfortable, easy to trailer. Every time I get ready to buy a twin I go for a ride and that takes care of that!

Yep....Some how the $600 - $1000 + a weekend for fuel doesn't do anything for me. Twice the fuel costs, twice the maintinence expense, twice the problems.....I can take the Extreme out and run with alot of the bigger twin engine boats with a stock 496HO and have the same fun. Dave

Actually, I think the 30 was first. I sort of remember a Production class boat in the late 70's named Boogie Bear that was a 30ft. Corsa. Anyone?

Boogie Bear was Frank Thomas P boat, He owned the original Corsa factory bought from Paul Haggerty.

I ask because I know the 30 CARRERA is the same hull as the the 30 Corsa and the 27 (actually 26.9) CARRERA is a 30 with a 3 ft plug in the mold. So I was wondering if they also got that from Corsa or did Corsa do something different for their 26.
Looking at both (26 and 27)the hulls look identical.

on the bottom it looks like a big hot dog about 2 feet long. if they where higher on
the hull i would say they look like spray deflectors.
