View Full Version : Adjusting engine/coupler

Ok still learning about boats so I have a question: I got an alignment tool for the gimbal/engine coupler and it doesn`t line up.
The motor is about 1/2" too high. In the manual it shows adjustable front engine mounts but I don`t have that (unless I`m retarded and they are hidden below somewhere)

My mounts look like this:

so not sure what to do...

Those are offshore mounts,,,,,non adjustable.

Try moving the bar up or down to pivot the bearing and see if it goes in them

That worked like a charm.. now it slides in and out like butter.. SWEET!!!! :kiss:

If only you could do ALL your mechnical work via keyboard...you'd be AMAZING. And you'd never have to leave the couch.
