Maybe be shorter than most Sonics but has a big deep V and a lot of nice features. First one I have ever seen. Listed in classifieds. Should be a wave crusher. I have always liked red boats.

They built those as outboard boats as well. My dad and I looked at a few and were very nice boats. Would not mind an outboard one again.

Based off of a 24 Donzi, there is a few around. Guy down here restoring one with twin outboards. They have an 8' beam like the cig, not a 24x7 hull.

I think it's actually the other way around. The 33+ foot Sonics were based on the Coyote/Banana mold, but I think the 30/31, 26 and 24 foot Sonics were based on the Donzi mold.

24 was based on Donzi molds from the El Pescador/Spitfire/Spirit genre'

I almost bought one with twin outboards, really impressive ride actually...

this one is a GREAT deal for the money..

I have one I am restoring. It is an outboard and has the common issues with the transom.
Big cabin for the size, soft ride. Most of the inboards have the dash moved forward about 12" over the outboards. I have not seen that style back seat before.

Also some of the first ones used the donzi designed lower cut deck. Deck bolts in
That one looks like what they called the SE, side windows, sink, 15 gal fresh water, fridge, porto, but every one is a little different.

I wonder how fast it would be with that power. I'd think you would need 500+ horsepower to get over 70, but maybe not.

It runs a solid 65 with 385 hp. Might squeeze a little more as I just discovered the junk Merc throttle was only going to 75-80% throttle. I switched to a offshore shifter/throttle style this week.
