There has been a large amount of media promotion on the Sarasota Kilo Run due to Copeland’s 56’ Phenomenon wanting to set a new record. SBI received a phone call from the Copeland Team letting us know that they are being inundated with phone calls about the Kilo Run in Sarasota. They are expecting a lot of fans from New Orleans that are coming to see them set the new World Record along with a mounting number of media.
Kilo Run -

The Kilo Run schedule for Friday, July 2, 2010. Information on the Kilo Run is posted on the SBIP web site by clicking on “Events” and selecting “Kilo Run”.

The Kilo will run from 7am – 12 noon.
•
The order of the Kilo is determined by the order of the paid entry forms received – space is limited.
Sarasota Race –
All race teams that plan to attend the Sarasota Race should get your rooms booked now, don’t wait. Refer to the SBIP web site www.superboat.com or the Suncoast Charities for Children web site www.suncoastoffshore.org for a listing and link of all the hotels participating in the event. This year it is extremely important that everyone support the hotels listed on the web sites above so that the Charity can continue to get their support and raise the funds needed for the Children.
With the expected number of fans coming in for the Kilo run, if you don’t book your rooms now, you may not get one close to the race site. Remember the Super Bowl – New Orleans support their sports teams. The Phenomenon has been showcased at the Saints games and the Miami Boat Show.
