I Have been a Python owner for 9 years now but have only been boating in one for 3 seasons due to a lengthy restoration project.
I want to thank the board Gods for granting this wish!!
I have recently suffered a computer crash but i will post a picture of my boat.

Cool thread. My first go-fast was a 24 python. I sold it to donman here on SOS. It was a great boat. Pretty sure the original 502 390hp still hasn't been touched.

The 502 is still untouched, but I changed a couple other things on the boat ....:)

If you don't have it already you might want to add hydraulic steering. Cable steering sterndrives will start flapping around at those speeds resembling chine walking. That was the issue I had with my Python.

A python over 70 needs hydraulic steering or it will go crazy.

GET Hydraulic Steering!!!

If you drag 1 tab a touch it can help with the chine walk as well.
