35 Outlaw - Pokerface "look a like" with the new Merc 1300's and #8 Drives. That should beat any other Baja out there?

Oh, and a 405 with twin 4.3 MPI V-6's Alpha drives, for TEAMBAJA! He has too many hours of getting beat-up, with all that endurance testing at Baja.

I would go have a talk with reggie and have him custom make a 40 outlaw with quad steps and staggard 1075's with #6 drives. This is also the first thing I would do if I won the powerball.

A 40 o/l something along the lines of this.....less the beak
with the new 1300 turbo motors

How about a Faction with the 1300 merc's? Doesn't anyone want to go faster than Reggie's Cat Killer?

The APBA Pace Boat from 1999.

You may get it sooner then you think,
rumor has it a step 40 is in the making.

That picture was from a year ago.

It's a 40 o/l top mounted on a 42 fountain hull.

The reason there is a large gap between the hull and deck is
to maintain the 40 o/l's freeboard.

The beak area is supposed to be filled in also.

Didn't that mold end up in the dump ?

Yep. Broken in pieces with a big towmotor. That mold would have needed a lot of work to make it right. It was the original as designed before it was tested. As I understand it, there were many changes after testing to get to the level that the spiderman hull was at.

I'd go for the old 420 Pace Boat for something that was ready to be bought.

If I were to build one I'd have to agree the 40' beak/Baja with staggered 1300's would be what I'd build.

Someone with aspirations lower than mine could scoop up a really fast 29 Outlaw. I know a guy that wants out of his.:seeya:
