Have a friend with a 44 Flybridge MY that is looking for a Chicago slip/spot for the 2010 season. Because its a flybridge, a certain harbor will not work. Not interested in Racine or Indiana, Chicago only please. If you, or someone you know, has something available, please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Absolutely, and he did not give it up but just sub-let/rented it for the summer so that he would still be on the list of slip owners with the park district. I'll let him explain but made great sense to me. It is already rented as far as I know though but I'm sure he'll chime in.

It's just not as funny when you have to explain it. :iamwithstupid:

A lot of the things we do are against the rules. LOL Actually he was going to but I guess you are right and it fell through. Didn't make much sense anyway with the little 1.2 million square foot warehouse he has 10 min from the launch anyway!!!!! You are probably right D, but I have 2 or 3 guys from the southside that rent their slips every year from the slip owner and it is not in their name. I think it is getting to the point that they just want the money!! The benefits and services sure as heck are not getting any better for the nearly $6k a year they charge!!!

I agree, It makes no sense.

But like you said, the slip fee will more then cover the fuel he uses this summer and the barn is awful convenient !!!!

Thats what I concluded as well..it doesn't make sense..especially when gas prices on the water go through the roof this year not to mention the weather last year sucked and to have it just sit there and not take it out is frustrating.

I got my warehouse by the launch, cheap ass gas on shore and located half way between both the city and warm water beach so I feel i'm sitting pretty..not to mention to over night at any of the harbors is cheap anyways in case i wanted to leave it in!!

Looking forward to a good year!!
