That poor upper gear set !!!!!

hahahahaha, i don't think on a 8500# boat with twin XR's and 525's ,,not leaving the water...would hurt anything !!!!!

The only thing he hurts is his arm and the shifter !!!!! lolololol:sifone:

How is the project coming ??? thats more intresting !!!:seeya:

Looks like he was doin more harm then good tryin to be bobby saccenti..

Im no drive guy, but seemed to feel to me when running in chop like that I'd be better off running some tab and maybe a little less trim rather than romp the sticks back and forth all day. I'd imagine the drives and crankshafts must get tired of all that unecessary loading and unloading???

I spend the majority of my energy disagreeing with you but you hit it on the head here bro!!!! Little bit of tab and drop drives 1-2 notches and it would have been running less nose height and got rid of the bouncing. Funny though, he had to have been almost as worn out as the gaffrig shifter was at the end of the run!!!!

Nobody wants to look bad on TV. And sometimes trying not to look bad backfires.

He's got the Joe Offshore moves down though.

I know most guys run along at 65mph or faster jerking off their throttles trying to save their drives. i cant see how slamming the throttles back to idle position then upon re-entry the prop is almost nuetral. The speed and momentum of the hull draggin the prop cant be good for gears and propshafts either.

Wouldnt it be better to back off enough to keep the RPM in line with the boats speed? or least somewhat close to it vs. slamming it into idle position??

Off-throttle re-entry is harder on the drives than winging them and re-engaging to the water with the power on.

That right there at the .30 mark is my dilemma, sitting in the boat I`d think the drives are coming out of the water.. seeing it from the copter they are not.
So thats all experience I take it?
I need a shift light! lol

Come on guys, it had to be ruff-the wine cooler in the holder behind his arm falls out right before he starts playin yankee! I didn't think Pantera owners drank wine coolers  At least it's not a Zima...
