We hear that Mercury is showing a new 400 HP outboard at the Miami show this weekend.

We are offering a very special deal for any buyers that might want to order one of our outboard boats....24 or 28 foot with this 400 HP option.

Nothing like a brand new offering out there, showing what that 8 foot beam can really do with some power.

It would really be cool if it was a supercharged 2 stroke.

I had my flight cancelled, so if anyone is down at the show, the rumor is.....

that Skater has a new 30 foot cat with twin 400HP's from Mercury....the new engine.

Would someone please find out if the rumor is true.

Thanks

The 30 foot Skater that was there yesterday had 300 XS's on it .....

GGGRRRR...

All just my opinion of course, but I think 400HP is the "magic number" for outboards to go "main stream" on performance boats.

300HP is a little light for most performance boaters but at 400HP, added in with the lighter weight, better fuel economy and lower sound levels; they become a more viable option for many.
