My understanding is the new owners are the same folks that rescued Fountain.
In the case of Donzi, there's a lot of new management and a lot of the old upper management is gone. I've also been told the management goes back and forth to Pro Line a few days a week.
I know that Josh Stickles still has his job.

Donzi is still with us. Production is down as they got caught with some excesive inventory when the economy tanked. i think they will pull through. There are some question marks though as to what direction they will go.

I was at the plant a couple of weeks ago and took the complete tour. Yes, production was definately down but so are the other boat manufacturers. I was very impressed by the fiberglass layup materials/schedules and by the fit and finish of the boats. I was told that Craig Barrie is in charge of sales.

Craig told me the higher end boats are selling regardless of size. Generally that means the bigger stuff but they seem to be changing the focus of the company to do all custom, high-end, work.

It looks like they are doing a custom classic web site and I'm sure it will go all the way up to the big stuff as usual.

so... less production. more time and goodies on each boat built.
