Cool idea - if it wasn't for that pink (which even for a pink is ugly) your's wouldn't have been that bad before. Either way looks good now.

How do the docking lights work? I wish I had them because some nights I can use all the help I can get.

Great looking updates guys. I've been working on my berth now for 2 yrs :( Wife has been laid off twice during that time so havent had as much disposable income to get it all completed. Crossing fingers this will be my lucky spring o finally get it done so i can move on to the cockpit next winter.

That cockpit looks great. A lot of time must have been spent on that redesign.

I think Kevin helped his buddy build Matt's. It wasn't Kevin's boat if I recall, just a buddy of his.

Yes, the poor Apache would love to come back to OK. It's been living in hell ever since it left from what I've read.:(

That's bad ASS

It also drives my point FURTHER in, that they never should have discontinued the Cafe Racer. http://smiliesftw.com/x/hsugh2.gif (http://smiliesftw.com)

The Cafe had it's own identity, and they sold a HELL of a lot more of them than that brilliant, totally unique, 30 & 35 Top Gun! If they had updated the Cafe when they were updating the other models, I'd bet a lot that they would still be selling a 35 footer.

That dash that this guy put in, looks exactly like what Cigarette would have incorporated to match the rest of the line up. That, plus a twin step bottom on the Cafe, could have continued to be a VERY popular boat. Instead, we got a 30 & 35 Top Gun......neither of which ever caught on. I can't imagine why the "new" 30 & 35 didn't sell as well as the Cafe, being so different than the rest? Oh well, I love the rest of their boats!

My understanding is the current owner actually did the dash update himself. The guy I sold the boat to got the photos from the current owner.

I'm not sure what the vent on the bow is all about.

That dash (actualy the whole update) is bad azz! That guy should be working for a boat company somewhere. The way he did the fairing, the paint, the dash, the interior makes that boat look like it could sit at the Miami boat show coming up!

If you really look close at the dash (and you know cafe dashes) you can see what he did to make it look so outstanding. And it appears its just add ons in the right spots. I don't think there was as much work into that dash as it looks...Just some really well placed additions. That dude has a great eye!

I'm still at a loss as to what that funky thing is at the bow. Some sort of intake?

Here's more pics of the boat and his other works...Guys got some serious skill.

Let's don't forget the engine compartment re-do!
Start with HP500EFI's ... add intercoolers & whipples and voila!
1,400 plus horsepower!
