Thanks MM, It's an 07 32 with 710 ilmors and 6 drives. Love the boat, runs great!
I've got some pics that were taken by Tim Sharkey during the hudson fun run, but i've had challenges posting them. Maybe Tim could help me out and post some here! Thanks for the compliment!

The little swipe of blue really makes the colors pop!

Very nice!!

32 or 32B?

Really love the lines- how the front seems to kind of dip down; almost like an arch with the front and the rear are lower than the middle sort of. Know I'm not saying it right but it looks frickin awesome! The white hull helps that sleek look as well; esp in the front where the graphic stops and the white starts and wraps down towards the deep part/middle where the tunnel is.

Any #'s you can post on it without getting in trouble with the insurance guys?

How's the wind down the middle with the split windshield?

I'd love to see a comparison between your boat and the 30 with 710's in it!

32b (it's a 2007 ,they stopped making the original 32 a while ago- 2001 I believe??), still playing with props, and have to recalibrate the gps after switching to a battery free antennae, so not 100% sure on top speed.(You can watch GLH's video of the hudson run to get some ideas of the speeds we were running) The 6 drives on boxes really keep the boat hooked up and let you leverage the boat to do things with it you cant on a bravo boat. The nice surprise is the awesome gas mileage i've been getting out of the Ilmors, very surprised and much better than i anticipated.(Would estimate about 2 mpg crusing at 100) There are only 2 back seats , so the wind down the middle is not an issue as there's no middle rear passenger.( I can run wide open with virtually no wind behind the qtr canopy) Overall, Pete did a real nice job, as usual!

Id say you would be fine traveling down 95. We've had no problem with our cat nor has Steve I believe, but our boats are not as wide as your 46. On the water in CT you'll be fine. Id say trailer down to save you all that money in fuel and because its a straight tow for you! Its slated to be July 24th. Were are working out all the details still. We have an idea of what the course will be though.

There's a shot with the hatches up in the video, and in the presentation for best looking boat, they are showing an interior shot of my boat. (It has grey seats and carpets) They also have some shots on skaters website under models then 32 skater (skaterpowerboats.com) ( hatches up/engine compartment at 39 sec on vid, interior at 7:04)

You know how when you have something really nice but want something else well thats my story, I love Steve's boat, it was available at the time I bought mine but way out of my league. Saw it in person when I was visiting LCM for the LC Poker Run. Beautiful boat, nicely appointed & a great all around package.

I love my Ilmor 710's although as I admitted above I really want the 725's now, I know you guys are surprised! I've owned 2 boats w/ ILMOR power & I'd build or buy another w/o blinking an eye especially now that they are mated w/ their Indy drive.

Stay tuned, my 30 is at Skater now for an Indy Drive upfit & I'll start a thread once I have some pics & progress to post.

In the meantime here's a few pics I collected of Steve's boat over the last 2 yrs while I was playing the lottery w/ the hopes I could buy it!:)

PS- Steve if you don't want any of these pics posted let me know & I'll take them down, it's your boat.

Steve,

My GPS Speedo antenna crapped out too & I went thru the whole battery replacement w/o any success so I wired mine directly into my Garmin GPS & it works perfect as long as I have the Garmin uncovered & on. No calibration necessary. It's running both my front & rear speedo plus the Garmin digital display.

If I had my way I'd lose most of my gauges for a few Data Tachs. I have 4 Tachs & 2 speedos in my helm. Data tachs would clean the dash up nicely. I'm not really a smartcraft display kinda guy although I know many of the newer high end boats are incorporating those style.

I am wondering why the boat only runs 101 with 710's? The slip ratio of 14% is high and the speed seems quite low. I would guess closer to 135 mph. Maybe I did not read the thread correctly?

Brad,

Thats a photo I took off of Livorsi's site (LMAO) but good eye. I don't actually have a Data Tach but was saying I wish I did in order to consolidate the bazillion gauges.
Actually my boat ran 137 w/ the original owner & different props, my personal best 135 so you are spot on.

Did you get my PM about your current props. I know you gave me the sizes etc but do you know the rake & what gear ratio your drives are? I'm using your setup as a starting point for mine & they want to know what ratio. The DCB's & Eliminator w/ Indy drives all have a 1.39 ratio which is close to my Bravo 1.34
