Well, after a year of looking at skaters, mti's, cigarettes, fountains, etc. I have decided on the lightest, baddest 41' apache. Old school all the way baby. We are going to put some BIG Rogers Speed Shop motors and run class 3

That's a great race boat. But you can't forget LUCY as a team member!!!

To post photos, click on GO ADVANCED, then scroll down and find MANAGE ATTACHEMENTS, a new window will open, then click BROWSE. Locate photo on hard drive and post. Super simple.

Ah gotcha, well, some of you know me, but all of my "toys" are taken care of to the highlest level. My apache wont just be a race boat but will be a show piece as well. I will be investing money into her to make her exactly how i envisioned. If you look at the skater Amsoil, you could eat off it and is one of the most winningest boats out there. She will be taken care of, thanks for the concerns

The boat is going to get beat up in racing ,,just like most other raceboats.

This boat is in absolute 100% perfect condition and it will not last in racing !

Other then that good luck and congrats !!!

Also the boat , the way it is is already in the 94-95 MPH range, no need to stick bigger engines in it.

Maybe find some 5 blade props to get more eccsaleration out of it ,,,thats it !
And add a little weight in the bow , like 200+ pounds or u will be flying to the moon in race condition.

I LOVE THAT BOAT BY THE WAY !:USA:

Hey **** Devil I never said I was like my dad. What I was trying to state was that you don't have to destroy a boat when racing, if you do, you are not doing it right! The boat was built to be raced not sit on a trailer like yours does! Don't start **** when you don't know what your talking about or who your even talking to! Have we ever even met? With Docs Family Background I do not have any thought of the boat getting beat up or rundown.
I think racing if for fun is a great idea and will improve the boats pedigree.
If not doing it it would be forever MMīs boat or justanother hayhauler.

Regarding smack talk and nonexisting communication skills It seems thereīs always some people writing checks bigger than one can handle and those doesnīt belong to serious.

Happy Christmas..
And NO I do not need a reply.

Merry Christmas, sweet boat.

And I agree the heritage of the boat will be enhanced. But, I also agree racing is hard on a boat. But, Doc's reputation is pristine so I think it's a perfect match. Can't wait to see it out there on the course.

MikeyFIN
12-25-2009, 08:59 AM
The lengths of the courses you race even a lightweight Apache will eat up and spit out.
Plus Doc has a slew of old school Racers backing him up not just one equal to Mel Riggs etc but Several!

RACING is hard on a boat yes I Agree on that :)
Itīs not fun to glass together brand new boats every time they have been out but hey thatīs RACING and the level of Competition.
