Poker Run Communications

Looking for a set of 4 or 5 headset for poker run use. I would like to have voice activation on all sets but if not one voice and the rest push button is fine.

I have the wireless headsets from Racing Communications, Inc....all can be set for voice activated or push to talk or both.

They work great.

Sorry- I should have explained the before situation along with my comment. 5 of us were in Otis's Gladiator (sit down boat) with 4 headsets for the KW Poker Run last week. Guess which 4 didn't want to listen to me talk all the way down.

From what I remember the Piratecom's were pretty reasonable even at retail prices. I emailed them a couple times with questions, plan to buy one in the spring. They were very helpful and responded very quickly.

I have a Intercom set up from Revolution Marine Inc.
It has 4, behind the head, Carbon Fiber headsets with boom mics.
2 of the headsets are VOX and 2 are PTT.
When I ordered, I let them that I wanted the best headsets they had
and they had to stay on in the wind @ 100+ MPH....

System is expandable to 6 person.

I have the Piratecom 4 person setup. They work well and are a good company to deal with. They have helped me with a couple of installation questions and are reasonably priced. The only problem I had are the plug in connectors for the headset are a little fragile. They are made that way to break off in case you crash. Take care where you mount them so as not to bump the connections when you are running hard or mount them in soft locations so that they flex. I found the soft mount, tie wrap to the bottom of the bolsters to work the best. Romao and Larry back their products and are only a cell phone call away.
