today is beautiful out ,,80 deg,,,,3-5 mph,,,,1ft chop ,,,tampa bay no sun, so what do you think is going to be the final speed of a svl when all,s said and done? there is no river currents or tail winds in the bay !:sifone: LIFE IS GOOD!

I drove Solarized #33 the entire Pro Series in 2001 w/ the big motor. It would hit the century mark easily.

was it easy to handle at that speed? what drive ? #4 what prop? and actually i,m really proud of all the svl guys for the speeds we are running with a stock 525 infront of a bravo drive, it took a lot of homework to go this fast, most people who want to go faster just build mountain motors,,,,, we had to figure it out , inside a small box. and it seems were making another leap foward ! so i was wondering where is the wall? thanks brian i remember your guys boat,

Best race speed still in the 91-93 range. Kilo I still think 100 is possible on the perfect day.

Ray actually told me the story on this and said the airtime was so long that water stoped coming out of the pipes and the strainer was probably blowdry. LOL

He also said it was kind of scarry but glad it went well. She landet nice and they continued to race as of nothing happend.
When he seen this picture,,,thats when he relized how much air they had .:USA:

We kept toasting bravos and went to a b-max and never broke again. We actually won 1st overall on Saturday in St Pete. Dual MSD boxes , a bunch of switches and other Phantom tricks. Yall probally know - haha. The boat was a handful but gobbled up anything you could throw at it. We had a good lead in Key West down the front straight away but I got lost and went to Miami - haha. Bill Park was a nut and talked in tongues over the intercom. I'll never forget 2001.

Yes, I hate moon shots.. Your odds suck when you are waiting to land. More often than not something bad happens.

doesn't that extra airtime give you a few extra seconds to look around the cockpit for some clean shorts??? Look at the brite side.. those extra few seconds of airtime give me a head start :D
