normal rate is 2.00 per mile one way, if its a V-botom of legal width and length on its own trailer

General Site FYI: It is a must-have in order to offer towing services that one providing your DOT number, CDL and proof of proper commercial transport insurance coverage. Thanks for your understanding.

Additionally, as a boat owner I wouldn't even consider for one second letting anyone move my gear without all this.

Do you have a valid CDL, necessary permits, and commercial towing insurance? It is a must-have in order to offer these services. Thanks for your understanding.

These policies are a result of past issues with haulers moving boats for members and issues arising.

If you see others offering hauling services on the site, they have provided us with this information.

It is easier to give more accurate quote when we know the make, model of the boat in question. Lets us know if any oversize permits are needed. going into florida now if you are over 65ft long combined, you need an overlength permit. The florida DOT is really cracking down.

HEHE,,,no ,,we had a construction company in germany and had some semi's and other trucks.
I really worked ,,,once or twice in my life !:sifone::driving::biggrinjester:

I actually have a boat licence and a froklift licence and a crane and other HD vehicles ,,licences.

About 8 at least.....in germany its not that easy to get one either,,,,they don't hand them out like in the US.

Anyhow,,,sorry for robing your job .LOL

They do,,it kind of sucks also,,because they are WAYY more money then here.
But i guess thats why u can take your car on most part of the autobahn and go as fast as u whant.
No deadly acidents at 30 MPH with nobody else involved and u learn how to check your tires and brakes on the vehicles, among other things....not like here,,where they let 80+ year old blind people loose and 16+ year old's that don't even know how to walk yet !!!!!!!:rofl:

BUT I LOVE AMERICA :USA:

your right , the last time i came from biloxi 2008 ,,as soon as i hit fla ,,dot got me and mearured my rig toter home and trailer, i was 3 ft, over, they kept me there for 3 hrs. to prove,, i owned it ,,insured it,,registration,,on each,, race boat,,trailer,,,toter,,,and the scooter,,, and my license,,,and if you have a decal on the side of the truck,,,ding, ding, ding,,,commerical,,, so be carefull,,,and good luck:USA:

yes, when I get stopped and they see any kind of decal they think its a race boat and that it gets prize money. I always tell the DOT guy that its a poker run boat and that if we are lucky we get a $5.00 trophy. Otherwise they look at you as being commercial and want everything.

now that I know what kind of boat it is the cost would be 2.00 per mile one way. This would include the overlength permit for florida. Just run the miles on mapquest and you would have the total cost
