dennis, sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I have been outa town working and haven't had much time to myself.
I hope it all works out for ya with the deal, you will love the boat --------I did:drool5:
The speed with the mufflers on is or was 71 or so depending on all the B.S. that goes on the boat, you know, this that and every other thing you can stow away and forget about:ack2:
Take those mufflers off and you will pick up alot but I really liked the sound and in N.Y. we have to have them.
To answer your question........No I had no problems and you won't find a 28 with the paint that has, at least I have never seen one.
Keep me posted on how it works out.

We were so close. He was going to head to Fla on Thursday but He found out he was going to have to pay taxes on my boat to the tune of almost $4,000 so he backed out. We were going to make a trade mine for his plus cash. I now have a 2006 25 Baja for sale very clean. Take care.

Is he still in N.Y.?
He doesn't have to pay sales tax on a trade if it is of lesser value than what he sold, I have been there done that a few times up here.
Thats BS,

You are correct that is the way it is here in fla. But he is telling me different? Not sure what the deal is? I am just moving on. I am still very interested in getting a 28 Savage. I will be putting mine up for sale next week in the various Classifieds. Maybe by summer I will land a deal some where? Thanks for all the info. I wish It would have worked out I really liked that boat.

Hey...this is the owner on the Thunder...we have called every DMV, dealer, NYS tax department and anybody else we could think of. Everybody said there is no way around paying the tax on the Outlaw...If you know of a way not to pay tax I'm still interested in the deal..........thanks Phil

Dennis, I just got off the phone with Phil a few mins ago, seems things have changed up here inN.Y. land of taxes where they wonder why all the industry and small bis is gone.
Sounds like they have F'ed us again and want taxes every which way you look.
