Hey George get a hold of Louie the Rigger (Strictly Buisness racing) He actually made a set based on the ones in Deans (Wahoo racing) Fountain. I got a look at them in Point Pleasant a month ago and they were pretty cool. Maybe he can point you in the directiion of building a set. When i raced in Deans boat i thought those things were great. Kinda odd to get use to but you do pretty quick.

I assume you are reffering to the suspension seats.

If fountain is still open, call them, they build those in house. Outerlimits does too.

Furuno,

I like when the visor shuts.....:willy_nilly:

The onboard from Nigel and Joe in Scandinavia would have been cool, talk about pucker factor.

No, way those guys don't throttle like that.

I don't know them but, would guess that kind of throttling doesn't win races.

you'd be surprised, they had 2 wins and 4 seconds...

and it was built as the second kos, it was the 710/6 boat, now mercury powered.

Yes, I am surprised. I liked the pads. That was a sign of being serious.

Really?..

So Sean it was the boat thay they ran in KW last year. It was the new boat for King of Shaves and I was told by James down there that it was built like that for KW and before it went overseas it would have arnesons put on it. Boat looks really good!!!!!!

I don't think Dave built any. Louie the Rigger from Strictly Business did.

Wow I'm not used to Dean saying my name with out smack talking lol, I did built a set for our boat thanks to Dean sending me one of his to base them off of. Fountain wanted $15,000 for 2 seats and when i said lets do it I never heard back from them after several phone calls so i set out on the mission of building them myself. They cost about $6500 bare nuts for the rails, slides and shocks, and I had about 150 hours into them. My shop is capable of aluminum welding and machine work, we also had to fiberglass aluminum plate into the seat back and bottom to reinforce our seats as they were not originally made to bounce. After the project was done it was well worth it and probably worth Fountains quote because they were including new kevlar seats which are pricey, just couldn't get them to call back. If you want to run hard in the ocean and walk afterwards I would build them, if you need a hand or any phone numbers where i located parts give me a ring 516-702-2601.
