A friend of mine in Houston is considering this boat - anyone know of it or the history??

Their stock # is R43002.

Thanks

Boat was called Tequila Sunrise when it was new. It sold to some foreign guys (Denmark, Norway somewhere over there). Boat was then traded to Hideaway for the Cult Sunsation F4 boat (which has since been traded on a NT 3600 Cat). Have your buddy call Hideaway and talk to Joe the service manager. The boat was on their floorplan for a couple years. I saw it at a poker run in the Bahamas in 2005: http://www.flpowerboat.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=24&pos=22

Uhhhh actually I built that boat for me as a demo. We put three 700 Nor-Techs in it.
I sold to a Canadian and repowered it with three new Merc. 575's. That's when it became the Tequilla Sunrise. Then the "Cult" guys bought it....

It's a Nor-Tech.
What could be "bad"?

Like the little chinese fukker that does my laundry - "Yu won funni mudder fukker!" Not worried about the boat - know anything on the engines? Have the been run against the firewall from daylight to dark? Hate to buy something and tear everything down first go around - but of course it is a boat - probably gonna happen anyway.

just hoping to find a little insight - we knew up front Jeff's boat was the best buy on the market - cause everyone knew Jeff and the boat. Just looking for the scoop on this one.

I saw the boat in person about 6 +/- months ago.....I was getting dusty sitting in Hideaway's boat barn for a couple years but from 50 ft it looked ok but I suspect the 8 year old white vinyl cockpit is tired. The trailer was junk, sagging and rusty though. Call Joe at Hideaway, he could give better details especially concerning the mechanicals.
