Anyone know this boat? I'm guessing from the photo that the boat is overseas somewhere. Does anyone have any other pictures of the boat, videos, specs on motors and drives, speed.... etc? I love this boat and would like to know more if anyone out there has any info. Thanks.

It's in Italy. I believe Michele (Mickey on the boards) took that picture. It's very nice with the blues but wait til you see the 42X phils building for the show with staggard 700's!!

Phil has built 42's for that show before, must be a lucky combo for him 42/700's.

Thank you Tank! I am obsessed with this boat for some reason! I want it!!!! lol

I'm currently in a 35 Fountain Lightning and there are about 10 fountains on my lake. There isn't one Cigarette. I want to be different so I'm exploring.

I want one with #6's in the $200-250k range with 700's or so. Any ideas where to look?

Well, this one is over seas so buying would not be great (the Euro is up and shipping would be gnarly!)

Phil built two 42X's that are similar to this one. The Purple one and the blue one. If you're ready to buy call Phil and see if either of those boats are for sale. Both sick. I think you may be a little low on price though for a 42X w/6's. But you never know in this economy.

Here's the purple Lip-Ship.

When Danny built it, he had a matching International truck too!

Danny was the second owner. But yea, the truck was sweet!

Really? I thought Phil built it as a spec boat and Danny was waiting for that 2nd 30 Vice to get finished and bought this 42X instead.

I think it would take at least $375 for a 39/700 NXT boat...the old OSO boat comes to mind. A 42X probably a bit more.

I don't know all the in and outs of the deal but Danny was the second owner of the boat & truck. Here it is on it's maiden (fateful) voyage to Key West. Supposidly that truck was a real looker but did not tow that great and rode like sh!t.

Not sure about the first owner... but Danny and team were on the boat during the run. Talked to them in Key West shortly after the festivities. They are actually in the posted pic, they were quite animated about the ride.

I know of a 39/700 TG with a 100 hours on it that sold on a Myco 18 months ago for 325K, they have been out for awhile now and 525 TG boats are asking almost 1/2 the money so the 39/700's got to get cheaper....... 375K for the former OSO boat maybe higher since it has never been titled.

A 42X/700's for anything in the 2's is not happening anytime soon though......

keep in mind the owner/operator does have sh!t luck......good news was nobody was hurt and the Motion got duct taped back together for the rest of the ride......
