Just rigged one for a friend with 2" shorties - needless to say it's too short. Got some 1/2 spacers to add and try out - just curious if anyone had anything similiar and knew the "sweet spot". Runnig 31 pitch 5 blade Herrings.

Thanks

any updates on the rigging? Was considering IMCO's for mine

Nope ... been too damn cold and I've been WAY too busy - w tried 1/2 with no luck - the left one just doesn't make it on plane while the right is biten much better ..... we'll probably end up with 1 1/2 spacers making it just a 1/2 shorter than stock .... but at this time and since it's laid up we're pulling the engines to get freshened up and dyno'd - so it will be a while before I know the "sweet" spot.....

we ran inch shorties on stelling boxes, did not work, ended up putting inch spacers back on the imco scs. we also had hydro p5s turning in. hope this helps.

We didn't - but it's been my experience with stepped hulls and moderate power it's not much, if any, gain. And docking sucks...

didn't help speed much but calmed the boat down around 100, a lot easier to drive.
