Nice. Was Don Q a 46? I remember a picture of her flying in Puerto Rico, but don't recall the details. No it is a 32 A - with a very light lay up and had a deck that was set up for F16 fighter Canopies which was beached during a race in Grand Haven Mich and has went thru some major changes like a New pleasure deck & bonding the deck to the hull , Gas tank's , Firewall ,Custom hatch ,Cockpit pannels ,tunnel supports , and the list goes on and on .

I would like to mention that doing these tanks takes a long list of materials that i purchase from Douglas Marine / Skater and the list is ..........AT Prime part A & B ,Wax Addtive ,Cobalt ,Styrene ,Fabric and the Witch's Brew (Resin) desigined to withstand Enthanol and this process is for use on Epoxy boats .

Pretty cool Artie!

A few years ago I was at Zul's shop. He showed me a crap load of pictrues of what I believe was his Superboat or something like that where Activator cut the bottom out and put a step in it with a #4 on the back. They made the gas tank in the boat and got some kind of green resin to seal it with. They found the green stuff because they got in touch with some company that makes the new fiberglass tanks they put in at the gas stations.

didn't the excavator guy in muskegon have this for a while and removed the tunnel because of delamination? I think his name was Jim . It was a family business that put down under ground pipe or something.

Yes the tunnel was delaminated and repaired , and like i said in a previous post when i was at Skater it was going to be cut up before James W , purchased the hull from Pete ,who lives in the Spring Lake / Nunica area not far from Muskegon .

The boat that i show in my pics is a 32-A and its last race was here on lake mich in Grand haven were it was beached and then taken back to Skater were it was de-rigged along with removing the deck that was used for a new 32 hull . Hey guy from the looks of things the boat that you show in your pics is a forty Skater.
