If you ever wondered where old boatbuilders go when they escape the boat business, pull up www.cyclonepower.com, video library, biomass generator, and you will find us.

Very, very cool Brownie! That's quite intriguing. What sort of thermal efficiencies are you seeing - Realized power output / latent fuel potential? How does consumption compare to traditional modern reciprocating engines, power for power?

Skipped a step so I added it. Nice!

This is a "dumb engine". no throttle, low pressure, low temperature. It runs at 12 or 13% overall efficiency. All our other engines are "supercritical", 1,000F, 3200 psi. We are in the 30's, better than gas, worse than Diesel, but we can burn s**t for fuel. We have run algae, powdered coal, used crankcase oil, cooking oil, ethanol, butane, you name it. We also have an engine that does not breathe air. The exhaust is club soda, water and CO2. Fun stuff here...........

Fantastic. Thanks. The possibilities are unlimited here, especially in areas where premium fuels are not available, the military and remote field suitability of something like this is quite nice. Very cool.

I'm building an engine that runs on my own farts. I've mounted it on a bicycle and so far have been able to get as far as the local taco stand to pick up a sack of burritos. I guess you could say that the output is a wash.

Harry's place is literally steps from the Active Thunder factory. A walk over to see Harry is referred to as "Off to see the Wizard." His DDC hull design is the step bottom on the Active Thunder(s). It's like a Sci-Fi playground in there.

Yup.. Pat and I went to see the Wizard some time ago. (actually Pat had to take a call so he stood outside). It's about when Pat started working on the new 40 something AT deck accroos the street.
But the AT step is a decendent of the pattented Challanger Offshore hull Harry designed for the Blackhawks back in 03-04.
Oops.. I mean 1993 -1994. We had fun testing and having underwater films at lake "X". Fun times.. Too bad the Blackhawks didn't last liong. Viborated the fillings out of your teeth.

With new tech. and alloys some one should take a "new" look at that concept. Brownie.. !! Harry..! it has your names all over it. :)

I drove by a boat dealership the other day and every one of the 30 or so hulls lined up in front of the place were Harry's design. If he can make the mark on the energy market that he has in the Marine industry we will all be better off. And collaborating with AB just makes sense!

AB has already covered the Stand-up comedian role in the offshore community, among other things, so what do you got in mind?
Being a Buickphile like me too doesn´t count.

Does Harry still have his 31 bird of prey? That was a very elegant but modern boat. It had a 1930's Dusenbueg styled deck with a modern DDC bottom. He took me for a ride in it Goverment Cut in it around 1994. Any for sale?
Thanks
Steve

Does Harry still have his personal one? I like the boat but agree it's a tuff sell.
